Audio Driver Incompability
Conexant audio driver had had destroyed every audio and video driver installation ( the ATI video controller as well) - system recovery was impossible, but reformatting the whole hard disk was successful. My HP Compaq nc6000 is running better than before.

As my Aspire One zg5 AOD150 does no longer start up successfully, I
urgently needed a substitute, and I discovered a big deal at Amazon.de
for 150€. Proud owner of a real HP Business Notebook, Compaq nc6000,
1.4GH Intel Pentium M, Intel Centrino inside, 30GB hard disk, French
keyboard, Win XP/Pro, I discovered on HP's Sites the warranty of
s/n, p/n and model identity late: Expired since 2000-01-23, but I
am going to explore my refurbished laptop happily inspite of its age. MS Updates took 15GB
of hard disk, HP updates will take 10GB in all.
